What it does · Reports
The answer to "how is the cohort doing" should not take a week to assemble.
Every figure comes from hours that were logged and signed here, so a report is a view of the record and not a second copy of it.
One report for a cohort, one line for each student
There is one report, not a menu of them. Each line carries what a coordinator is usually asked.
| On each line | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| Hours logged, signed by the site, and settled | Where does each student stand — and how much of it has been signed? |
| Pace | Who is behind for the point in the placement? |
| Weeks waiting, on whom, and the longest wait | Which weeks are unsigned, with whom, and for how long? |
| Weeks under the supervision your program set | Is each student receiving the weekly supervision you expect? |
| Concerns open, and the learning agreement | What needs a coordinator’s attention? |
| Site and both supervisors | Who is placed where, and with whom? |
Out of the system, whenever you want
-
A spreadsheet
The cohort report downloads as a file you can open, sort, filter and hand to a committee.
-
Everything, not a summary
The program’s whole record — placements, hours, signatures, evaluations — is taken out by the coordinator as one file, without asking us.
-
The student’s copy
A student’s finished record stays on their own account, with a code they can give to a board or an employer to check it.
What a report here is not
-
Not an accreditor’s form
We give you the figures. Laying them into a particular accreditor’s template is planned, once we have that template from its source.
-
Not a judgment
A report shows what was recorded. Whether it satisfies a standard is your program’s decision and your accreditor’s.
Questions about reports
Do reports include students working on their own?
No. A coordinator sees the students their school enrolled, and nobody else.
Can faculty see reports?
A faculty supervisor sees the same line for each of the students they oversee, and nobody else’s.
How current are the figures?
They are read from the record when you open the page. There is no overnight run to wait for.
Can we keep reports from earlier cohorts?
Yes. A cohort that has finished stays readable, with its targets as they were when it ran.
Tell us what your committee asks for
We will show you where that figure comes from.
