What it does · Hours and signatures
An hour is only evidence once somebody has signed for it.
So the product is built around the signature, not the timesheet: who signed, in what capacity, on what date, and what the entry said at that moment.
Logged in the program's own categories
The program decides what the categories are and how many hours each needs. A student picks one when they log, so the totals are right from the first entry and nobody reclassifies a term's hours in April.
What an entry holds
The day, the category, the time in hours and minutes, the site, and an optional note with no client details.
Entered late
Allowed, and marked as entered late, with the date it was actually typed.
Entered twice
A phone that loses signal and tries again does not create a second entry.

Three states, and the record never blurs them

Sent back
A supervisor returns a single entry with a reason. The student corrects it; the reason and the original stay in the history.
After a signature
The hours on a signed entry cannot be changed. A mistake found later is corrected by a new, dated entry beside the old one.
At completion
The whole placement is sealed. No one — not the school, not us — can edit it afterwards.
Questions about hours
Can we set our own categories and targets?
Yes, per program, and a cohort keeps the targets it started with even if you change them for the next intake.
Can a supervisor sign several weeks at once?
Yes. Each week is still its own signature with its own date.
What if the site supervisor leaves the agency?
What they signed stays signed, under their name. The coordinator assigns a new supervisor for the weeks that follow.
Is supervision time tracked separately?
Yes, as its own category, individual and group, with the time per week shown against the minimum your program sets.
