The questions people ask before they sign up.

Mostly about what happens when something goes wrong, which is the right thing to ask a product that exists to hold evidence.

What does "verified" actually mean here?
Four different things, shown as four different labels, never collapsed into one word. An hour can be what you typed yourself; what your supervisor reviewed after the fact; what your supervisor was present for and signed; or what TripleRoute observed directly, from a session that happened in a TripleRoute room. Those are genuinely different claims, and a single "verified" tick that could mean any of them means none of them.
What happens if my supervisor leaves, retires, or stops replying?
Nothing happens to what has already been sealed. Sealed hours stay sealed, stay readable, and stay exportable by you, permanently. A placement ending — well or badly — does not take your record with it, and you never have to ask a former supervisor for a copy of your own history.
Can anyone change my hours after they are signed?
No — and this is the part worth being precise about. Once a period is sealed there is no code path that edits or deletes it, for any role, including an administrator, including us; the database refuses the change as well, so a bug or a script cannot do what the interface will not. Each sealed period also carries a digest chained to the one before it. The honest limit: anyone with direct database access can alter bytes, and no software can promise otherwise — what the chain guarantees is that such a change cannot be silent, because the digests stop agreeing and the break is reported. We test that by doing it: the build fails if a record altered behind the software’s back goes undetected. A mistake is corrected by an amendment that sits alongside the original and preserves it, so the record shows both.
What happens to my record if my supervisor stops paying?
You keep it. An overdue payment locks the workspace for the supervisor and their supervisees until it is settled, so no new hours, sessions or messages. It never locks your signed record: you can download it yourself at any time. You do not rent your own history.
Do you store anything about my clients?
No, and there is no field that could. TripleRoute is not an electronic health record: no client name, date of birth, address, record number, note or treatment plan exists anywhere in it. Case discussion on the platform must stay de-identified, and every surface that accepts case content says so. You cannot leak a column that was never created.
Will my board accept this?
That is your board’s decision and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can do is show you what the published rules say, where we read them, and when a human last checked — every requirement figure carries a pinpoint citation and a review date. Where we have not researched a jurisdiction, the page says so and shows no figures at all rather than a plausible guess.
I already have a supervisor. Can I still use this?
Yes — bring them. You can invite the supervisor you already work with rather than starting again with somebody new. The invitation is bound to the address you send it to, so it cannot be redirected to another account.
Who pays — me or my supervisor?
Your supervisor. A supervisee account is free and stays free: finding a supervisor, keeping your record and downloading it cost you nothing. A supervisor pays a yearly sign-on fee and a monthly fee set by how many people they supervise. There is no trial period, and we do not take a percentage of anybody’s fee.
What if a requirement on your site is wrong?
Tell us, and quote the citation on the page — it links to the board’s own text, so if the two disagree that is a fact we can act on rather than an opinion we have to weigh. Nothing on those pages is generated: every figure was entered by a named reviewer against a specific published source.
Is my supervision confidential?
Your notes to yourself before a session are private to you — not in any export, and not in anything a board is shown. The record of hours and attestations is shared between you and your supervisor, because it is a record of something you did together. Nothing in TripleRoute is visible to other supervisees or to other supervisors.
