What it does · Evaluations

What the supervisor thought, in your form, signed and seen by the student.

A midterm, a final and a completion summary, written against the areas your program assesses and kept with the hours they describe.

Your form, not ours

  • Your areas

The competencies or learning outcomes your program already assesses, in your wording.

  • Your scale

Three points or five, with your own labels. We do not convert it to anything.

  • Your timing

A midterm and a final by default; you set when each falls due for a cohort.

Who writes, who signs, who reads

Kept honest

  • The student always sees it

An evaluation is never written about a student without being shown to them. Acknowledging it is not agreeing with it.

  • Signed means closed

A signed evaluation cannot be reworded. A correction is a dated addition beside it.

  • No client details

The same rule as everywhere else: what the student did, never who it was for.

Questions about evaluations

Can we use the rubric we already have?

Yes. You enter its areas and its scale once for the program.

Does the faculty supervisor grade here?

They record their view and countersign. The course grade stays in your own systems; we do not hold grades.

What if a student disagrees with an evaluation?

They can add a dated response, which is kept with it and seen by the coordinator.

Are evaluations part of the permanent record?

The completion summary is. Midterm and final evaluations stay with the placement and are the student’s to download.
