- Every license renews by December 31 every three years (2025, 2028, 2031), whenever it was issued.
- A credit hour is 50 minutes of instruction.
- Courses must be approved by AAMFT, the Hawaiian Islands Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American or Hawaii Psychological Association, NASW, or NBCC.
