Supervision-oriented continuing education — supervisors only For somebody who also holds the board’s supervisor license, for that license. 10 hours
Informal education A limit, not a target. At most 15 hours
Renewal cycle Every 2 years
Hours are due August 31 of odd-numbered years
  • The reporting period runs from September 1 to August 31, every two years.
  • Formal education is face-to-face or interactive instruction. Informal education (reading, attending professional meetings and the like) counts for no more than 15 hours, and not at all if you hold more than one license.
  • Somebody holding more than one of the board’s licenses completes 25 formal hours for each license, related to that license.
  • An intern is exempt.
  • The board tracks hours in CE Broker.
