  • Your first four years of licensure are one period, not two: 40 hours are due by the end of the fourth year, together with any graduate credits the board set for you when you were licensed. After that, 40 hours are reported every two years.
  • Of the 40 hours due in the first four years, at least 4 must be on serving clients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
  • A graduate semester credit counts as 15 hours and a quarter credit as 10; credits taken in the first four years count toward both requirements.
  • An activity must be at least one hour long, and home study must have an independently graded test.
