  • At least 30 of the 40 are Category A: programs from a sponsor the board has authorized, presenting such a program, or a juried publication. All 40 may be Category A.
  • Category B is informal learning: in-house seminars and case conferences, unpublicized sessions at professional meetings, supervision received, peer case conferences, and distance learning with evidence of completion.
  • One CEU is 60 minutes.
  • Somebody whose renewal period is shorter than two years completes 20 Category A CEUs for it.
  • Keep the proof of each activity for four years.
