- At a first renewal the hours depend on when the license was issued: none if issued from April 1 to September 30 of an even-numbered year; 10 if from October 1 of an odd-numbered year to March 31 of an even-numbered year; 20 if from April 1 to September 30 of an odd-numbered year; 30 if from October 1 of an even-numbered year to March 31 of an odd-numbered year.
- The hours are earned between October 1 and September 30 of the two-year licensure period.
